Kind of like Facebook for the Global Platform
UNISDR’s Global Platform Team has been hard at work to make this one of the best Global Platform’s ever! This year, they’ve setup a social networking tool for registered participants. It’s a way to connect with other disaster risk reduction professionals with the same areas of work. The tool called ‘GP Connect’ aims to improve social and personal networking opportunities at this year’s Fourth Session. All you need to do is fill out a simple profile which will help you find people registered to attend the Global Platform who share similar interests.
Check your network regularly and you will find more people who have signed up. As more people join GP Connect, the results become more relevant to everyone. Happy networking!
